Our Location

My name is Jenny Barton and I opened Enigma Pottery Studio and Gallery in Frome after graduating from Bath Spa University with a degree in Ceramic Design in 2001. The pottery studio is situated at the bottom of a picturesque walled garden to the rear of my Grade II listed house and gallery, and caters to people of all ages who are interested in learning more about pottery in Bath, Frome or the surrounding areas.

The gallery houses an eclectic range of work including Randomware (a range of designer studio made tableware), Hand Made Tiles, Special Occasion Plates, Photographic Images, Limited Edition Cards and Prints, plus a myriad of ceramics from Mugs to Figurative Sculptures and a selected range of artwork by guest artists.

For those looking for pottery classes in Bath or Frome you can join with regular adult or after school pottery classes in the light and spacious pottery studio. We can also provide a one or two hour pottery making parties, as well as running regular seasonally inspired pottery workshops like Easter Egg painting, Mothers Day gift making, Summer workshops or Christmas Decoration Making.

When not running classes and workshops for those wishing to make their own pottery in Bath or Frome, I use the studio to design and make production runs of buttons, mugs, plates, soap dishes and fridge magnets to customer specification, taking pride in building a personal relationship with each of my clients.
